Geoff Parling out until December

Concussion will sideline England and Bath's Geoff Parling for the next two months.

England will have to make do without the services of Geoff Parling for this autumn's Test encounters against New Zealand, South Africa, Samoa and Australia.

The 30-year-old recently suffered concussion for a second time in quick succession while in action for Bath, who have confirmed that the lock will be sidelined until December to ensure that he makes a full recovery.

The news will come as a further blow to England head coach Stuart Lancaster following revelations from Northampton Saints earlier today that Alex Corbisiero would not play again until next year.

Lancaster is expected to announce his squad for the upcoming fixtures in three weeks' time.
