Leinster will have Brian O'Driscoll available for their game at Exeter Chiefs this evening after the centre passed a fitness test.

Brian O'Driscoll has passed a fitness test ahead of Leinster's Heineken Cup game against Exeter Chiefs later today.

The centre returned to action against the Scarlets last week, but had to leave the field early to receive treatment for an ankle injury.

The reigning champions need to win and hope other results go their way in order to make the quarter-final stage of the tournament.

Head coach Rob Baxter told BBC Sport: "They are a proud bunch of players and I have no doubt they will want to prove a point.

"I have no issues with any of them because I didn't see any player who didn't want to tackle last week, who didn't hit rucks, who didn't run or who didn't scrummage.

"Sometimes you come up against good players, good teams and you get beaten. That's life."

Leinster's game against Exeter gets underway at 6pm.
