Andy Murray has leapfrogged Rafael Nadal to third place in the latest ATP world rankings.
The 27-year-old fell as low as 12th last season, but his return to form, which coincided with his run to the final in last month's Australian Open, has seen him shoot back up the rankings again.
The Scottish player sits a long way behind Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer on ranking points, but he will be hoping to close that gap by winning his first event of 2015 in Dubai this week.
Murray will start his assault on the title against Gilles Muller today.
