Maria Sharapova has reached the final at Indian Wells after she recorded a comfortable win over Maria Kirilenko.
The world number three had too much for her Russian compatriot, and she eased her way to a 6-4 6-3 victory.
There were as many as 14 break points in the opening set, but Sharapova took the only one to seal an early advantage.
The multiple major winner took control of the match in the second, losing just one point on her serve, to coast into the final, where she will play Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki.
