Andy Murray enters Vienna Open in bid to reach ATP World Tour Finals

British number one Andy Murray enters next week's Vienna Open in a bid to secure a place in the ATP World Tour Finals.

Andy Murray has announced that he has added the Vienna Open to his schedule in a bid to reach the ATP World Tour Finals later this year.

The Briton currently sits 11th in the rankings after losing to David Ferrer in Shanghai earlier this week, with only the top eight players qualifying for the season-ending event in London next month.

The 27-year-old was due to have a week off before competing in Valencia and Paris following three consecutive weeks in action in the Far East.

Murray has qualified for the Finals every year since 2008.
