Rafael Nadal has cruised into the final of the Madrid Masters with a 6-0 6-4 win over Pablo Andujar this afternoon.
The fifth seed looked unstoppable in the first set, preventing his compatriot from getting on the scoreboard.
Andujar made a stronger start to the second set and forced Nadal to face a series of break points, but the reigning French Open champion dug deep to keep the set on serve.
Eventually Nadal was able to attack his opponent's serve and go a break ahead, allowing him to serve out the set and progress to tomorrow's showpiece.
The Spaniard will face either Tomas Berdych or Stanislas Wawrinka in the final.
