World number one Victoria Azarenka took just 50 minutes to reach round two of this year's US Open with an easy 6-0 6-1 win over Russia's Alexandra Panova.
The 23-year-old, who has never progressed beyond the fourth round at Flushing Meadows, claimed the opening nine games at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
In total, Azarenka won 52 of the 70 points that were contested and hit 20 winners compared to her opponent's two.
Azarenka will face either Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of the Czech Republic or Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens in the next round.
