Venus Williams has claimed that she will seek advice from sister Serena before she takes on Swiss teenager Belinda Bencic in the third round of the US Open.
The two-time champion managed to progress into the next phase of the major tournament in New York with a three-set victory over Irina Falconi on Wednesday.
Serena is on course to claim a calendar Grand Slam, but of the two defeats that she has suffered this season, one was at the hands of Bencic.
"We always give each other advice, especially if one of us has played the other opponent recently," Reuters quotes Venus as saying.
"So, yeah, we always are there for encouragement and advice. She'll probably give me some pointers like tomorrow or Friday. She's got pretty sage advice."
Serena will face fellow American Bethanie Mattek-Sands in the next round.
