Clarence Seedorf will take charge of his first game as manager of AC Milan this weekend when they host Hellas Verona at the San Siro.
The Dutchman was appointed after the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri, following their 4-3 defeat to Sassuolo last weekend.
Seedorf spent 10 years playing at Milan, and takes charge of a team who currently sit 11th in the Serie A table.
The Rossoneri have only won two of their past 11 league matches, and a place in Europe next season would require a dramatic improvement in form.
In comparison to Milan's struggles this season, Hellas Verona have enjoyed a stunning return to the top flight. They are currently sixth in the table, and have collected 10 more points than their opponents.
A recent run of four games unbeaten was brought to an end last weekend, as they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat against Napoli.
The last time that these two teams played was on the first day of the season, when a Luca Toni brace helped Verona to a famous 2-1 win.
Kevin Constant, Stephan El Shaarawy and Ignazio Abate are all injured, while Sulley Muntari is suspended for Milan. Jacopo Sala is injured and is the only played ruled out Verona.
