Aaron Ramsey bemoans missed opportunities

Arsenal did not make the most of their chances against Barcelona, says their Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Aaron Ramsey was left to rue Arsenal's missed chances following their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Barcelona at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud both failed to convert presentable opportunities before Lionel Messi struck twice to leave Barca in a commanding position ahead of the return clash next month.

Speaking to BT Sport after the final whistle, Ramsey said: "It's obviously going to be tough for us now.

"We created a couple of opportunities, especially in the first half. Against a side like that you have to take them."

The Gunners will travel to Camp Nou for the second leg on Wednesday, March 16.
