Arsenal striker and soon-to-be free agent Eddie Nketiah reportedly favours a move to the Bundesliga over a summer switch to Crystal Palace.

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah could reportedly snub interest from Crystal Palace to head for the Bundesliga.

The 22-year-old has been largely restricted to minutes in the EFL Cup this season and will soon enter the final six months of his deal with the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta has affirmed that he is keen to keep Nketiah on the books at the Emirates, but the striker has rebuffed the club's attempts to tie him down to a new contract amid concerns over his game time.

As a result, Nketiah has been tipped to link up with Patrick Vieira at Crystal Palace, but The Sun claims that the former England Under-21 international would prefer a move to the Bundesliga.

The report adds that Nketiah does not have any offers on the table from Germany, though, with Palace still keeping a close eye on developments.

Nketiah has scored five goals in three EFL Cup games this season but has only played 38 minutes of Premier League football in the 2021-22 campaign.
