Bastian Schweinsteiger returns to Bayern Munich's starting lineup against Hoffenheim at home in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has been recalled to Bayern Munich's starting lineup for their Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim at home this afternoon.

The Germany international started on the bench at BATE Borisov in the Champions League in midweek, as the Bavarian giants went down 3-1 at Minsk.

Schweinsteiger will be partnered in central midfield by summer signing Javi Martinez, with Franck Ribery and Toni Kroos supporting forwards Thomas Muller and Mario Mandzukic from attacking midfield.

Hoffenheim will have Joselu and Roberto Firmino as their two centre-forwards.

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Dante, Boateng, Lahm, Badstuber, Ribery, Martinez, Muller, Schweinsteiger, Mandzukic, Kroos
