Absent strike pair Nicola Zigic and Marlon King are replaced by Wes Thomas and Peter Lovenkrands for Birmingham's visit of Watford.

Birmingham City are without strike pair Nicola Zigic and Marlon King for the visit of Watford this afternoon.

King is absent through injury, while Zigic is fit but still not included in the Blues squad for the St Andrew's clash.

Peter Lovenkrands and loan signing Wes Thomas form Lee Clark's new-look forward partnership and are Birmingham's only changes from their draw with Charlton Athletic.

Gianfranco Zola makes two alterations, replacing Fitz Hall with Nyron Nosworthy at centre half.

Cristian Battocchio is also recalled in midfield as Tommy Hoban misses out. The impressive Matej Vydra continues up front alongside Troy Deeney.

Birmingham: Butland; Caddis, Davies, Caldwell, Robinson; Burke, Elliott, Gomis, Hall; Thomas, Lovenkrands

Watford: Almunia; Cassetti, Nosworthy, Doyley, Anya, Abdi, Chalobah, Battocchio, Pudil; Deeney, Vydra
