Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mkhitaryan had attracted the interest of Liverpool, who appeared at one stage to be the favourites to sign the Armenian international.
However, the 24-year-old will now move to the Westfalenstadion on a four-year deal for a fee expected to be in the region of €25m (£21.5m).
Mkhitaryan scored 25 goals for Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Premier League last season.
