Braga hold on to claim away point at Porto in Primeira Liga

Away side Braga move into fourth spot in the Primeira Liga standings after battling to goalless draw away at Porto.

Braga have climbed into fourth spot in the Primeira Liga standings after battling to a goalless draw away at Porto this evening.

The home side started strongly and they came close early on through Vincent Aboubakar, but he was unable to find a way past the Braga stopper.

Andre Andre was next to try and test the keeper, and he was unlucky not to find an opening goal for Porto as his shot flew just inches over the crossbar.

Braga had very few chances going forward and they had to produce a solid defensive display to keep Porto at bay in the second half.

The away defence was nearly broken in the dying embers when Yacine Brahimi broke free, but Braga stood firm to claim a vital point on the road.
