Albert Adomah and Frazer Richardson make their debuts for Middlesbrough against Charlton Athletic.

New signings Albert Adomah and Frazer Richardson have been given their Middlesbrough debuts this afternoon.

Adomah starts on the wing while Richardson, a signing from Southampton, slots in at the back. Dean Whitehead anchors the midfield, while Josef Varga also keeps his place.

For Charlton Athletic, Marvin Sordell starts up front but Simon Church, a scorer in midweek, is on the bench.

Callum Harriott returns to the midfield, as does Danny Green.

Charlton: Hamer; Solly, Wiggins, Dervite, Morrison; Green, Gower, Jackson, Harriott; Kermorgant, Sordell

Middlesbrough: Steele; Friend, Williams, Richardson, Woodgate; Leadbitter, Varga, Whitehead, Carayol, Adomah, Jutkiewicz
