Jupp Heynckes feels that UEFA should change their rules on yellow cards in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes wants UEFA to reconsider their rules after three of his players were ruled out of the Champions League final with suspension.

David Alaba, Luis Gustavo and Holger Badstuber will all miss the final after picking up yellow cards in Wednesday night's semi-final win over Real Madrid.

Their final opponents Chelsea have also endured the same problem, with John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Raul Meireles all set to miss out.

Heynckes said: "That is a problem with the rules, I feel the rules should be changed.

"It is a shame the final can't be played by the best players both for Chelsea and Bayern.

"The yellows shouldn't be carried forward to the final, these three players have been exceptional for us."

Bayern are looking to become only the third side to win the Champions League final in their own stadium after Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
