Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Fulham

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Friday's Premier League fixture against Fulham.

Chelsea return to action in the Premier League on Friday evening when they play host to rivals Fulham.

As a result of their early exit from the top flight, Chelsea have not been in action since January 21, when they held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield.

However, at a time when they sit in 10th position in the standings, Graham Potter's side are bidding to avoid a second defeat to the Cottagers in quick succession after they succumbed by a 2-1 scoreline back on January 12.

Raheem Sterling picked up a hamstring injury against Manchester City at the start of January, and the England international is not expected to come back into contention for this fixture.

Christian Pulisic was also injured against Man City in the league, suffering a knee problem, and the United States international could miss two months of action.


N'Golo Kante

Possible return date: March 4 (vs. Leeds United)

French midfielder N'Golo Kante underwent surgery on a hamstring injury at the end of last year, but the midfielder is on course to return to the field in the early stages of March.


Wesley Fofana

Having remained absent for over a month with a recurrence of a knee injury, Wesley Fofana is nearing a return to action, However, the France international is unlikely to come back into contention for this encounter.

Armando Broja suffered a serious knee injury during a winter friendly with Aston Villa, and the centre-forward has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

Denis Zakaria limped off the field with an injury to his quad against Fulham on January 12, and Potter has since ruled the Switzerland international out until the middle of next month.
