Kepa Arrizabalaga: 'I feel valued at Chelsea'

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga says that he feels valued - rather than under pressure - at Chelsea after the Blues paid £71.6m for his signature.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has insisted that his price-tag does not put him under any extra pressure.

The Blues opted to meet the Spaniard's release clause in his Athletic Bilbao contract before the end of the transfer window, with the La Liga outfit receiving £71.6m for the stopper's signature.

However, Kepa has said that he feels valued by the Premier League giants and is comfortable playing in England due to the presence of a number of his fellow countrymen.

The 23-year-old told AS: "The price is only that because the market is like that too. Higher and higher figures are being paid and I see it as a consequence of the market.

"I feel valued. In recent years many Spaniards have done important things. It is good there are so many of us in the Premier League."

Kepa has kept two clean sheets - against Huddersfield Town and Bournemouth - in his first four outings in the top flight.
