The agent of Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has played down a report linking the Nigerian international with a move to Inter Milan.
Rumours have been circulating regarding Mikel's future, with the 27-year-old often finding it hard to hold down a place in Jose Mourinho's starting XI.
However, the player's agent Olatunji John Shittu has moved to deny claims that Mikel could make a move to Italy in the summer.
"It's all part of the transfer speculations. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing like that," he told the Daily Times in Nigeria.
"It's just a rumour. We heard a similar thing that he was going to Galatasaray last season.
"Mikel is a fighter who would like to stay and fight for his place in Chelsea."
Chelsea currently hold second position in the Premier League table.
