Pablo Sarabia fires Getafe past Celta Vigo

Pablo Sarabia scores a late winner as Getafe come from behind to beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in La Liga.

Getafe have ended a nine-game winless run in La Liga by claiming a 2-1 victory over fellow strugglers Celta Vigo this evening.

Charles gave the visitors the lead in the 15th minute when he was found by Nolito's quick throw, before sliding a low effort past the keeper.

Getafe responded well and they were level within four minutes, as Alvaro Vazquez latched on to Pablo Sarabia's through-ball, before clipping an effort into the far corner.

The visitors came close to a second when Sarabia's free kick was saved, before Campos Sammir saw an effort blocked.

Despite the home side creating more of the chances, it was Celta who were given the opportunity to retake the lead when a handball from Nemanja Radoja gave them a penalty.

Diego Castro stepped up to take the spot kick, but his chipped attempt came back off the bar.

Celta were made to pay for that miss, as with five minutes of the game left Sarabia latched on to Sammir's clever flick, before rifling the ball into the roof of the net to snatch the three points for his side.
