Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin has said that he is confident of agreeing a contract extension with the club.
The 27-year-old was on the verge of joining Juventus in the January transfer window before the move collapsed, and he wants to repay the fans for the faith they have shown in him.
"The president knows about the player I am," he told SkySport24. "We have talked about a contract renewal and we will do it soon.
"After what happened, I have had to work even harder because the fans expected more. Even I thought I should be doing more, the team needs me and I want it to win.
"I want to give everything for Inter and for the fans who have always believed in me. I must give a response."
Guarin joined Inter Milan from Porto in January 2012.
