The agent of Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has rubbished claims that his client could return to Sporting Lisbon this summer.
With the Old Lady having lost their grip on the Serie A crown and suffering a humiliating Champions League exit to Porto earlier in the season, Ronaldo's future has been shrouded in uncertainty.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's mother claimed that she would try to convince her son to re-sign for Sporting next summer, but his agent Jorge Mendes has insisted that such a scenario is not an option this time around.
Speaking to Record, Mendes said: "Cristiano is proud of the title won by Sporting CP as he has publicly demonstrated. But, for the moment, his plans do not include Portugal."
Juve chief Pavel Nedved has also ruled out the possibility of Ronaldo leaving in the summer, but the former Manchester United man could supposedly push for an exit if the club miss out on Champions League qualification.
The Portugal international leads the way in the race for the Capocannoniere with 28 goals from 32 Serie A games this season, and he made 31 appearances for Sporting as a teenager before completing a move to Manchester United in 2003.
