Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign David Norris from Portsmouth on a free transfer, subject to a medical.
The midfielder's future has been under continued speculation this summer as Pompey look to offload players urgently to ease their financial problems.
The 31-year-old has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday but Leeds have won the race for his signature.
Norris is the latest player to join Neil Warnock's side in a busy summer of comings and goings at Elland Road.
Warnock has already completed eight transfers in the close season, including deals for Paddy Kenny, Luke Varney and Rudolph Austin.
