Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has revealed that he has made several loan inquiries for midfielders after the injuries suffered by Paul Green and David Norris.
The loan window reopened last week after the August 31 transfer deadline and Warnock is looking to fill the void left by the absent midfield duo.
"We're going to have to use it [the loan window] sensibly. If we lose two or three we'll have to do it, and that's what we're looking to do," he told Leeds' official website.
"We've asked about a couple of midfield players and we should know early this week because we need someone in there. We're looking at what there is around."
Leeds have begun their Championship campaign with two wins and a draw from their opening four matches.
