Riyad Mahrez not getting carried away by Leicester start

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez says that the team's strong start to the Premier League season will not change their aims for the campaign.

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has said that the team's strong start to the Premier League season will not affect their targets for the campaign.

The Foxes sit third in the table after winning six of their opening 11 games under new manager Claudio Ranieri, but Mahrez has insisted that he and his teammates are not getting carried away with their form.

"We just take it game after game," the Algerian international told BBC Radio Leicester.

"We just want 40 to 42 points first, then after maybe we can speak more."

Leicester host Watford at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
