Monday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:
Kylian Mbappe 'prepared to sign new Paris Saint-Germain deal and wait for Real Madrid move'
Kylian Mbappe is reportedly prepared to pen a new long-term contract with Paris Saint-Germain with a view to joining Spanish champions Real Madrid in two years.
The France international's future remains the subject of much speculation as his deal in Paris is due to expire at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Mbappe recently admitted that he is yet to decide whether to sign a new agreement with Mauricio Pochettino's side, and both Madrid and Liverpool are said to be desperate to acquire the World Cup winner.
However, according to AS, the 22-year-old is prepared to sign a new deal with PSG ahead of an eventual move to the Bernabeu, and there could even be a clause in the agreement allowing him to join Zinedine Zidane's side for a certain fee.
Madrid's finances have been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak, meaning that they are unlikely to be able to afford the attacker during this summer's transfer window.
Mbappe has again been in impressive form for PSG during the current season, scoring 17 times and providing nine assists in 25 appearances in all competitions, including 15 goals in 19 Ligue 1 outings.
Real Madrid 'will not move for Kylian Mbappe until Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell'
Real Madrid have reportedly signalled to Paris Saint-Germain that they will not make a move for Kylian Mbappe until the French champions are willing to sell.
The 22-year-old's future in Paris remains the subject of much speculation, with his current deal in the French capital due to expire in the summer of 2022.
A recent report claimed that Mbappe was prepared to sign a new long-term deal with PSG with a view to joining the Spanish champions within the next two years.
Madrid are unlikely to have the required funds to sign the France international this year due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Marca, the hierarchy at the Spanish club have decided not to officially move for the World Cup winner until PSG are ready to part ways with him as there is 'complete respect between the two clubs'.
Mbappe, who also continues to be linked with Liverpool, has scored 107 goals in 149 appearances in all competitions for his current side since arriving from Monaco.
