Liverpool reportedly have no plans to recall Harvey Elliott from his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers during the January transfer window.

Liverpool reportedly intend to allow Harvey Elliott to remain on loan at Blackburn Rovers for the remainder of the season.

In order for the teenager to be provided with regular action during 2020-21, Liverpool have allowed the playmaker to make the temporary switch to Ewood Park.

However, since his departure earlier in the campaign, the Premier League champions have suffered a number of significant injuries in several areas of the pitch.

Nevertheless, despite suggestions that the 17-year-old could return to Anfield in January, the Liverpool Echo says that Elliott is in line to continue representing the Championship outfit.

The prospect has made a positive impact in the second tier, contributing four goals and four assists from his 14 league appearances.

Although Elliott is highly regarded by Jurgen Klopp, the German would seemingly prefer for the player to gain game time over playing second fiddle at his parent club.
