Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Edinson Cavani have not been included in the squad for Tuesday's Champions League showdown with Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.
Maguire has endured a difficult period on and off the pitch recently, but the England international produced the goods in United's 4-1 victory over Newcastle United despite calls for the defender to be demoted to the bench.
Cavani, meanwhile, is yet to pull on the United jersey since his deadline-day arrival, although having started training with the Red Devils after completing a self-isolation period, there was optimism that the 33-year-old would line up against his former club in midweek.
However, according to the Daily Mail, both players have been left at home and will play no part against the French champions, with Cavani set to undergo more training before making his debut for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men.
The Uruguay international could supposedly decide to undertake his own journey to the French capital for Tuesday's showdown, but Cavani will most likely remain at Carrington to step up preparations for his eventual debut.
With United set to take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday, Maguire and Cavani are both expected to be included for the weekend clash at Old Trafford.
