Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez believes that his side deserved to beat Manchester United after their 2-2 draw in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has claimed that his side deserved to beat Manchester United after they earned a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The Blues fought back from 2-0 down at Old Trafford as goals from substitute Eden Hazard and Ramires secured a replay at Stamford Bridge.

When asked if his side were worthy of the victory, Benitez told ITV Sport: "I think so. Especially in the second half we were on top of them, created the best chances and were controlling the game."

The winner of the replay between Chelsea and United will meet Manchester City in the semi-finals.
