Ashley Young buzzing for Liverpool final

Manchester United winger Ashley Young says that facing Liverpool in the final of a pre-season tournament will conclude the club's summer nicely.

Ashley Young believes that "there is no better game" for Manchester United to conclude their pre-season campaign with than the challenge of Liverpool on Tuesday morning.

The Premier League giants take their famous rivalry to Miami next week for the final of the International Champions Cup, after both won their respective groups.

Consequently, Young anticipates a "great occasion" and claims that the encounter will be a friendly in name only.

"There is no better game to finish the tour with," he told United's official website.

"We all know the rivalry with the two teams – it'll be a great occasion and everyone can't wait. People may look at it as pre-season but it's Liverpool and we want to go out and win the game and the trophy."

The final is scheduled to begin at 1am GMT on Tuesday.
