Billy Davies admits that Nottingham Forest's unbeaten run had to come to an end at some point.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has admitted that his side's good run of form had to come to an end at some point, after they suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Championship leaders Cardiff City.

Davies saiid that Forest are targeting another two wins, which he thinks should be enough to see them qualify for the playoff.

"The run had to come to an end at some point," he told Sky Sports News. "We have four games left and we know we need at least two wins.

"There will be plenty of movement in the coming weeks but it's the table at the end of the season that matters. It's all to play for."

The defeat leaves Forest outside the playoffs on goal difference only.
