Russia boss Dick Advocaat has revealed that he will resign as the country's boss at the end of Euro 2012.
The 64-year-old, who took over in 2010, had been offered the extension of a two-year contract, but he has decided to step down.
"It's true, I will resign after the end of the European championship. I don't want to disclose the reasons for my decision but money wasn't the issue," Advocaat told reporters.
"I didn't tell the players that I'm going to resign but I'm confident it will not affect our preparations for the Euro."
Advocaat is expected to return to club management.
