Harry Kane and Son Heung-min could create a slice of history when Tottenham Hotspur take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this evening.
Kane has already recorded a league-high 10 assists so far this season, with eight of those setting up Son to score.
Should Kane tee up Son for another goal this evening then he would equal the all-time Premier League record for most assists for a teammate in a season, with less than half of the campaign gone.
The record of nine is currently jointly held by Blackburn Rovers' Mike Newell for Alan Shearer and Liverpool's Stan Collymore for Robbie Fowler, both of which came in the 1995-96 season.
Kane has also scored nine league goals himself so far this season and is looking to become just the fourth Englishman to reach double figures in seven successive Premier League campaigns.
However, Spurs go into the match having lost their last two games, and they could lose three on the bounce for the first time since November 2012.
