Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino insists that he is prepared to take up chairman Daniel Levy's offer of a new '15-year deal' in North London.

Mauricio Pochettino has declared himself "very happy" at Tottenham Hotspur and is ready to commit his long-term future to the club.

The 45-year-old has transformed the Lilywhites into serious Premier League title challengers during his three years at the helm, guiding the club to their highest-placed finish last time out.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has stated that he wants the Argentine coach, linked with a number of managerial positions in the past, to still be in North London in "10 or 15 years' time".

Pochettino appears more than happy to oblige, telling reporters: "I am very happy with Tottenham and I hope I stay 10 or 15 years here. If he wants me to, I would love to sign that contract.

"It is up to him. It is always up to the owner or the chairman whether you keep your position as a manager for a long or a short time. It is all about him. I am so happy at Tottenham. I have enjoyed my time here a lot - this is a club with big potential.

"We are waiting for the new stadium, the facilities we be the best in Europe, and we only need time to develop in the same way, to try to build a competitive team and win a trophy. I am so happy to hear that Daniel Levy is so kind to me and is telling everyone what he expects from me."

Pochettino takes his Tottenham side to the Bernabeu on Tuesday night for a mouthwatering Champions League group-stage clash against Real Madrid.
