Tottenham Hotspur's youngsters might have given Ange Postecoglou some food for thought ahead of Sunday's Premier League battle with London rivals Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Lilywhites prevailed 3-0 over Elfsborg in the Europa League on Thursday thanks to goals from three academy graduates in Mikey Moore, Damola Ajayi and Dane Scarlett, the former of whom is banging on the door for more top-flight minutes.
However, given that Moore completed the full 90 in midweek, and Postecoglou is being especially careful with his game time due to his age, the 17-year-old is expected to drop out of the XI on Sunday.
Instead, Dejan Kulusevski - who has created more chances from open play than any other Premier League player this season - should return to right-wing duties in a three-man attacking trident with Richarlison and Son Heung-min.
Pape Sarr also made it to the final whistle against Elfsborg, but the Senegal international has been managing a niggle and did not look entirely comfortable, so he will surely be spared as Yves Bissouma comes back in.
Bissouma could form an all-'B' midfield against the Bees with Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur, but Postecoglou has been dealt yet another new blow in defence, as Radu Dragusin tweaked his knee on Thursday night.
The Romania international was only brought on as a replacement for the fit-again Micky van de Ven, though, and Postecoglou should therefore hand the latter another start after his pre-planned half-time substitution in midweek.
Brennan Johnson (calf), James Maddison (calf), Wilson Odobert (hamstring), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle), Timo Werner (hamstring), Dominic Solanke (knee), Destiny Udogie (hamstring) and Cristian Romero (thigh) have all been ruled out of this derby.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Kinsky; Porro, Gray, Van de Ven, Spence; Bentancur, Bissouma, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son
