Friday's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup: Dele Alli, Son Heung-min

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Tottenham on Friday, December 4.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Tottenham Hotspur having enjoyed one of their busiest and most exciting windows to date.

Gareth Bale made his return to the club on loan from Real Madrid, while Spurs also spent big on the likes of Sergio Reguilon, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty in addition to loaning Carlos Vinicius. Attention will now switch to the January window as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Friday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:

Dele Alli to leave Tottenham Hotspur on loan in January?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly open to the idea of Dele Alli leaving the club on loan in January.

The 24-year-old was on the scoresheet in Thursday's 3-3 draw with LASK Linz in the Europa League, but he has not been involved in the Premier League since the start of October.

Dele has not even been in the squad for any of his team's last six league fixtures, having fallen seriously out of favour under Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does not want to sell the England international during the January transfer window.

However, the report claims that Levy would be open to allowing the attacker to leave on loan, which could attract the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, who were credited with an interest over the summer.

The former MK Dons youngster has a contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until June 2024.

Jose Mourinho refuses to rule out Dele Alli sale

Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that it is not up to him as to whether midfielder Dele Alli stays beyond the January transfer window.

Since being substituted at half time against Everton on the opening day, the 24-year-old has played just 21 minutes in the Premier League - as a substitute against Manchester United in October.

Daniel Levy had reportedly rejected an approach from French side Paris Saint-Germain to take Alli on loan in the summer and Mourinho confirmed once again that it is up to the board to decide who stays and who goes.

"One thing is me understanding the players, another thing is the players' situation. I don't make decisions about selling A, B or C, or letting D, E or F go on loan," Mourinho told the Daily Telegraph.

"I am responsible for the players that belong to my squad and are working with me. The ones that are not playing enough time in their minds, in their ambitions, they have only one thing to do, which is to use the time they play to show me they are better than the ones having more minutes. There is no secret to that.

"I don't have any problems with Dele. I don't have any problems with anyone. I'm really happy I don't have personal issues with any of my players. Players are happier when they play. They're not happy when they don't play and I don't blame them. That's just the way it is. The concept that wins above everything is the concept that the team is more important than any one of us."

Alli is expected to start Thursday night's Europa League match against LASK Linz with both Harry Kane and Carlos Vinicius ruled out with injuries.
