Borussia Dortmund to move for Tottenham Hotspur's Lewis Holtby?

Borussia Dortmund reportedly consider a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby before the close of the transfer window on Friday.

The German Under-21 international has failed to cement a regular spot in the Spurs first team under new head coach Tim Sherwood.

Due to Dortmund's growing injury list, the Bundesliga outfit have outlined a swoop for the 23-year-old, according to Bild.

Reports have claimed that Tottenham are open to selling Holtby, but a loan option is not out of the question for the North London outfit.

The midfielder moved to White Hart Lane from Schalke 04 last year.
