Man City 'preparing fresh £127m bid for Harry Kane'

Manchester City prepare to launch a new £127m offer for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Manchester City are reportedly refusing to give up on a deal for Harry Kane this summer and are preparing to launch a new £127m offer for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

The 28-year-old is believed to have made it clear to Spurs that he wants to move to the Etihad Stadium, while Man City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed his side's interest last week.

Despite spending £100m on Jack Grealish this summer, the Citizens are seemingly willing to break the British transfer record for a second time to bring Kane to the club.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions are preparing a fresh bid of £127m in the hope of convincing Spurs to sell.

Romano, though, claims that Nuno Espirito Santo's side are still planning to keep hold of the England captain, who is yet to train with his teammates ahead of the new season.

Kane could join up with Tottenham on Friday if he returns a negative coronavirus test, having been training in isolation following his holiday to the Bahamas.
