Carlton Cole is confident that he will get "noticed" by England boss Fabio Capello as long as he continues to play well for West Ham United.
The 28-year-old, who has seven international caps to his name, believes that he has a chance to be included in the Three Lions' Euro 2012 squad despite dropping down to the Championship at the end of last season.
"Every footballer's ambition is to play for their national team in big tournaments," Cole told talkSPORT. "I know if I'm scoring goals, even in the Championship, I'll get noticed.
"The manager knows I can do it at that level. If I can do well, score goals for West Ham, then the manager will notice me and hopefully he looks at the Championship.
"He knows I can do it in the Premier League. Hopefully, if I've done well enough at the end of the season, he can overlook the fact I'm in the Championship."
The Hammers sit second in the table, just two points below leaders Southampton.
