Former Wolves target Paulinho wants Premier League move

Braga forward Paulinho, a recent target of Wolverhampton Wanderers, has revealed that he is open to joining a Premier League club.

Braga forward Paulinho has suggested that he would like to sign for a Premier League club in 2021.

Paulinho made an impression against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Europa League last season, leading to strong speculation regarding a future transfer to Molineux.

While a switch to the West Midlands outfit never materialised during the summer, the 28-year-old has revealed that he is keen to eventually secure a transfer to an English team.

Speaking to Record, Paulinho said: "Nothing came from Wolverhampton, but I'd like to play in England. All the players would like it.

"We're talking about the best league in the world, the most competitive league in the world."

The Portugal international has scored six goals in all competitions since the beginning of the season, including one against Leicester City in the Europa League.

Paulinho has a €30m (£27.27m) release clause in his current contract.
