AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini has been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League trip to Barcelona after suffering a small fracture to his right fibula.
Pazzini picked up the problem during Friday night's 2-0 win at Genoa and was replaced by Mario Balotelli just moments after scoring.
A brief statement on Milan's official website confirmed the news, saying: "The tests confirmed heavy bruising and a micro-fracture to the head of the right fibula."
Milan have a number of injury problems ahead their match at Camp Nou, with Philippe Mexes and Kevin-Prince Boateng also struggling for full fitness.
Massimiliano Allegri's side hold a two-goal lead in the last-16 tie after scoring an upset victory in the home leg three weeks ago.
