Jack Wilshere: 'Arsenal never looked like losing against Aston Villa'

Jack Wilshere claims Arsenal "never looked like losing" during their 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.

Jack Wilshere has claimed that Arsenal "never looked like losing" during their thrashing of Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.

The Gunners lifted the trophy for the second consecutive year on Saturday as they earned a resounding 4-0 victory over the Villans at Wembley Stadium.

Arsenal's conclusive triumph saw them become the first team to win the competition 12 times.

"It's a bit different from last year," Wilshere told the club's official website. "I thought we controlled the game the whole way through and never looked like losing, so we could enjoy it a bit more and get ready for the celebrations.

"There wasn't the pressure of not winning a trophy this year. We won it last year, we retained it this year and we can take it in a lot more this time."

Arsenal have appeared in 19 FA Cup finals, with their last defeat coming back in 2001.
