Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva to miss 10 weeks of action for Bolton Wanderers

Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva could miss the rest of the calendar year for Bolton Wanderers after tearing his hamstring against Birmingham City.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has revealed that on-loan winger Wellington Silva will be out for around 10 weeks with a hamstring tear.

The 22-year-old, who is on a season-long loan from Arsenal, suffered the injury in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City.

Ten weeks out means that Wellington might not play again this calendar year for the struggling Trotters. He has scored once in nine appearances so far in his loan spell.

Bolton are bottom of the Championship with just one win from 12 matches this season.
