Hector Bellerin eyes top-three finish for Arsenal

Hector Bellerin backs Arsenal to secure a top-three finish by the end of the season.

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has urged his teammates to do all that they can to secure a top-three finish this season.

The Gunners can make sure that they end the campaign in third place if they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Following their surprise defeat to Swansea City at the start of the week, Bellerin has backed Arsenal to get the result that they need against the Red Devils.

"I think with the second part of the season we have been doing really well and if we did not finish in the top three, it would be really disappointing for us," he told Sky Sports News. "But I think the team has got it in us and we can get more points, starting this Sunday against Manchester.

"We beat them in the FA Cup, so I think we need to play the same type of game and stick together. We had a little accident against Swansea at home the other day, but we need to think about all the other games that we have played before that game, and we know that we have been doing great."

Bellerin has scored two goals in 24 appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
