Chelsea 'planning Aaron Ramsey swoop'

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to take advantage of Aaron Ramsey's uncertain Arsenal future by bringing the Welshman to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to take advantage of Aaron Ramsey's uncertain Arsenal future by bringing the Welshman to Stamford Bridge.

Ramsey, who has one year left on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, confirmed earlier this week that his agent is in talks with Gunners chiefs about a potential exit from North London.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are watching the negotiations closely and will swoop for the midfielder if the talks hit a stalemate.

The newspaper adds that Ramsey, who would join a long list of midfielders at Chelsea, is valued at around £30m by the Gunners.

The Welsh international, who joined Arsenal in 2008, has scored 36 times for his current employers.
