Thierry Henry: 'Arsenal can win Premier League title - if they are consistent'

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says that the Gunners can end their 12-year wait for another Premier League title by going all the way in the 2015-16 season.

Thierry Henry has claimed that former club Arsenal can win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners thumped Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road this evening - after waiting over an hour to break the deadlock - to reclaim second place from Manchester United and move back to within two points of Manchester City.

It represented the North Londoners' third successive victory, and Henry, who won two titles during his spell with them, says that Arsenal can end a 12-year wait for another one - providing that they are consistent.

"They are in the mix for me," Henry told Sky Sports News. "Today was a massive response knowing everybody had won. Everybody was waiting to see if they were going to back up the win against United.

"Can they do it and maintain it for more than 15, maybe 20 games? That's what we want to see. They have to play like that all the time and win games like that sometimes where for an hour they struggle and then come out on top.

"Everybody can dream. If you love Arsenal I think they can win the title this season."

Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring on 62 minutes, before second-half substitute Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey completed the scoring for Arsenal, who beat Manchester United 3-0 two weeks ago.
