Laurent Koscielny reportedly 'broke down in tears' during a crisis meeting at Arsenal last week.

Arsenal players reportedly gathered for a meeting without head coach Arsene Wenger following the back-to-back defeats to Manchester City in the EFL Cup final and Premier League.

According to The Sun, Gunners centre-back Koscielny was in tears in front of his teammates as he revealed that his children had asked why the team were struggling for results.

Arsenal are still in the Europa League, but are currently sixth in the Premier League table - 10 points outside of the top four ahead of Sunday's trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Wenger had been tipped to leave the Emirates Stadium last summer, but the Frenchman ultimately penned a new contract, which will run until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
