Lethal Bizzle: 'Arsene Wenger could be sacked for transfer window inaction'

Arsene Wenger's days are numbered if he doesn't improve his business in the transfer window, according to rapper and loyal Arsenal fan Lethal Bizzle.

Arsene Wenger's days are numbered if he doesn't improve his business in the transfer window, according to rapper and Arsenal fan Maxwell Ansah, also known as Lethal Bizzle.

The Gunners signed Petr Cech from Chelsea for £11m in the summer, but the goalkeeper proved to be the only new arrival at the club.

Ansah told talkSPORT: "I don't know what Wenger's playing at, he's very stubborn. I just think if we really want to challenge for the title he needs to pull his finger out and adapt to the whole wage system.

"We're way off and I think we'll be lucky to get fourth this year. It's inevitable we'll get injuries - that's football.

"January is the most panic-buying window so I don't know if we'll manage to get anyone by then. It's a real shame. I think Arsene Wenger could be counting his days."

Arsenal were the only side in Europe's top five leagues not to recruit an outfield player, despite being linked with the likes of Edinson Cavani.
