Nacho Monreal keen to break Chelsea record

Nacho Monreal says that there is "no better moment" for Arsenal to end Chelsea's undefeated home record under Jose Mourinho.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal believes that there is "no better moment" to end Chelsea's undefeated home record under Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese has never tasted a Premier League defeat at Stamford Bridge in either of his two spells in South London, and the 51-year-old will look to preserve that distinction beyond today after the visit of the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger's troops can move top of the table with a victory and, with the Blues having lost to Aston Villa last week, Monreal senses an opportunity for glory.

"It has been a few years that [Mourinho] has not lost playing at home with Chelsea, and there is no better moment to break that record than this weekend," he told the club's official website.

"We are aware that it will not be easy, but we'll go there to get the three points."

This afternoon's clash is scheduled to kick off at 12.45pm.
